On April 16, C&D Inc. (600153.SH) C&D Pulp & Paper formed a strategic partnership with Malaysia's Nextgreen IOI Pulp (NIP) to jointly develop the world's first industrialized palm pulp project.

Located in Pahang's Pekan Green Technology Park, Malaysia, this pioneering initiative marks the first industrial application of palm pulp as papermaking raw material. As an innovative eco-friendly material, palm pulp can be utilized in producing various paper products. After over two decades of R&D, Nextgreen has successfully transformed palm cultivation waste (such as empty fruit bunches) into high-quality pulp material, achieving zero waste discharge and renewable energy utilization, thereby providing more environmentally sustainable solutions for the pulp industry. C&D Pulp & Paper will leverage its extensive market channels, robust distribution network, and rich supply chain management expertise to facilitate product commercialization.
