The steel structure roof of Hangar 1 was fully lifted and joined, marking a major construction phase for the world's largest single-structure civil aviation maintenance hangar in terms of size and span.

The steel structure of Hangar 1, weighing 11,393 tons and with a maximum single-span of 269.5 meters, presented substantial assembly challenges.
